It makes you afraid To be so exposed All these colors And movements Almost hurt your eyes Here There are crowds For whom living is a given No one here dwells On killing themselves From dawn to dusk And into the night It's all So very new for you An absence of darkness At least alone In your windowless cell There was always a place to hide Then out of the plane For which you've been waiting Dressed in a suit He finally arrives Suddenly frail And gaunt with anguish Again a girl You come to his arms A familiar being The young man Who loves you Your only connection To this world of light . |

I enjoyed reading the piece, it brought some scenes of forgotten love to mind like a daughter seeing her father for the first time in what seems like ages ago. RS |
