SEASONS OF ALLITERATION Spring sprang splendor Down drip drop Rain rebirth regrowth Buds burst blooming Fragrant flowing flowers Aspire arousing aroma Lush lovely lilacs Pretty purple petals Ravishing red roses Bountiful beautiful bouquets Summer sweet sensations Green grass growing Creepy creatures crawling Baby birds basking Sun shimering sunshine Long leafy looks Inspire instant illusions Very vast vacations Riding rolling rapids Swim splashing seas Welcome weekend wonders Autumn's absent abundance Fall flavor flaming Tree tops turning Leaping leaves landing Tinged tangeled tumble Rake return rerake Cool crisp calm School strutting students Prepare proper preparations Winter world wonderland Frigid freezing frost Clear cold chill Blowing blizzard burying Window white whirling Snow sled slidding Wearing warm wool Heated hearth hotcocoa Melting muddy mess Return renew rerun Spring sprang sprung [This message has been edited by katahdin (01-23-2012 06:02 AM).] |

The seasons come the seasons . . . Well, you know the rest. This was a well-written poem concerning the seasons. So far this particular season (winter) has been very, very mild down here in the swamp. ~*~ I gave up feeling guilty just to survive a long time ago ~*~ |

Winter has been pretty mild up here in the north Maine woods. We have just maybe a foot of snow. That's enough for me! kat >^..^< |
