She held his hands like she was holding onto bits of time where January met snow and she watched a little brother become lost in the tracks of May When school couldn't touch a single light and his hair wouldn't stop curling against an autumns eve She must be tired of holding my hand its been a long road down Culpepper down where the tears came to align the front grass sprinklers and a love of a small, curl haired boy turned to the ruffs where the snow piled on each afternoon His feet won't stop moving or maybe they can't, anymore Maybe its a long ways to happiness maybe its time I lost the curtains drapes and fell a little farther down Culpepper St. I think the length of her hands might be trying too hard and they're finally losing their grasp For now, a boy, maybe a man, with far too much wisdom doesn't understand the wounds that keep coming I think its time I rest my head against the woods iron casket one more time |

Victoria- Its interesting how a street name can be on the other side of the world and have an entirely different environment attached to it. Happy you enjoyed the piece. Cheers Tomer |
