    Infinite Stardust dreams
         [for a 'new year']

Perhaps sunsets and Winter
serve to deepen our memories
    and sorrows
yet cleanse the soul,
on such cool-bright moonlit
  nights,
following in the footsteps
    of Time,
as a billion mystic stars
are linked by these ancient,
   endless hills
to the pathless, untamed sea,
and painted across this
  crystalline cosmos
of infinite stardust-dreams
and hopes of new Love.
