"Oh my dear, it has been years!" I hugged her in the drug store line. A six-pack shuffle of the deck-- I counted cards and took my time. "I'm doing fine--I'm doing great--" I smiled my yellow teeth and said, "the ghosts are mostly in my head." "And how are you, my dear old friend?" "About the same, except I'm dead." She faded slow before my eyes-- a hologram tells hollow lies.. Slowly fading lips mouthed "ohhhhh" I nodded and I said "I know-- I fell from many pedestals, and soon, I too, will have to go." The stranger that I thought my friend held me tight in fragile skin in Majoria's at noon-- she whispered that I'd be home soon and then they called my name. |

a masterful demonstration of your skill with literature is presented by this complex poem. it demands to be read twice: once with studious deliberation to comprehend the depth of it, and once quickly to appreciate the intricacy of its subtle rhyme scheme. it is an excellent work that conjoins quality penmanship to substantial material and merits applause. kudos, m'Lady. |

I wanted you to know I do not write for money, nor do I post for applause. Okay. I lie. I LIVE for replies such as yours. *thank you* You made me blush. I just hope it means something to somebody, yanno? I think you do. |

Your poetry is so many things, it's spicey and dicey, magical and mystical, you don't mince your words or force them to be something they're not....You're one of a kind and your poetry stands alone in a very good place. You have a wonderful gift, lady! Hope the New Year is good to you. |
