  The Cusp of Eternity

Put away the noise of
  yesterday.
Overlook today’s inevitable
  demise.
Come walk this silver-evening
forest path to nowhere,
through an ancient land
of 'endless,' snow-velvet hills
in deep-time slumber,
where a sharp Winter
  moon
sails an ebony sea
with scattered clouds
whispering stars,
and poet-dreams
of nature and
love’s perfection …
hung on the cusp
of eternity!

Your poetry is always lovely to me. The message I took away from this, is to look for the beauty in all things,
there's enough muddy water all around us, but that doesn't mean we have to bathe in it. My two cents.
