She use to wear her skirt a bit down towards the legs of a small castle pitted between the lagoon of the forest and the restless leaves that scattered Pressed against her skin ivory, wind to settled eyelashes wrapped around her wrists bands of gold With a small scar pressed alongside her face indebted in the right side of her cheek like the small window she use to speak to when her feet ran cold next to the fireplace The girl under the small road where the jazz played blues streamed through the smokey dust as she pressed her nose against the frozen cold As her skin turned to the soft kilt of her mothers carpet she took each top corner as she stretched herself until her hair became a bit longer, her legs a bit softer, and between each breath, a woman was born under the star studded coast of the nights crest For night begged dawn to rise death praised life to shine and a girls slight body became the sequence of time until her mothers black heels felt the small shift of another woman's feet slide inside. HI Tomer, I so enjoy reading you. Your poetry evolves in such a unique way. It becomes almost life like, and the emotion is felt keenly. Always my pleasure~ |

Enjoyed. It brought back memories of wearing my mothers high heels when I was little. Especially on Sunday when we went to church I liked wearing her heels and nylon stockings. |
