The horizon glowed warm, bright, and orange disappearing rays of light into an endless deep blue heaven below was a vast endless cotton blanket caressing the supple Alps, a far off shadow in the distance. Gently I descended softly into your arms gracefully, like a hand brushing satin skin skipping over the soft ripples plunging gently into the vast ocean of moist white clouds like God's breath. Five seconds in a breath of blindness the fog of uncertainty and confusion unknowing what lay below, how far the descent a clouded mind, limited by futile, enigmatic logic and reason. Five seconds to touch, hanging suspended in the winds of a depthless mist we settled sweetly like faith to the myth on the smoothest lips of land nestled in the gentle breeze caught with grace in the peaceful palms of your forgiving hands. |

I read this three times, and it is beautifully written. Enjoyed your lovely words. ~Victoria~ A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |

This reads like a scene from a classic romance movie/novel. Your ending speaks volumes, forgiveness is a wonderful virtue. Beautifully done, martini man~ |
