When I was the holly jolliest The keeper of season in smells and lights Bits of cheer and whimsy everywhere you look And of course the music stirring magic in my heart But those days have slipped away over years of bah humbugs filling the season with dread What a priceless gift it would be to find my old self this year sitting under the Christmas tree LGRĀ©11/27/12 |

I think a lot of us, myself included, can relate to this. There is so much going wrong in the world that it has affected my way of thinking about many things, as I am sure it has many other people. But this is priceless, and I hope, fervently hope, that you will find you sitting under that Christmas tree grinning back at yourself . . . ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

I enjoy being around our grandchildren at Christmas time. Although I have five Im grateful for the two we will be seeing. Merry Christmas to you and yours. A poem is never finished, only abandoned. |

"What a priceless gift it would be" Yes it would, and all it takes is the doing. "Get-er-done" Enjoyed the read... JL ![]() Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. Love your neighbor as yourself. |
