prayers for the reasons why
#11 odds and even

This tremble it thinks
it is winning.
Oh yes this tremble thinks
the odds are stacked against me,
that because I have not written the sequel
and the reason is yet hidden somewhere
behind the still standing wall
it thinks it has won.
And because it thinks that I
have already lost this battle
it has become insufferably irritating.

But it is wrong, I have not stopped.
Praying that is, nor searching,
nor writing.
The reason might be something
I am not meant to have…
on this Earth anyway, and I am ok with that.
But I think this reason
is surely not as unobtainable
as the tremble touts.
I have decided not to worry
the answer will come in its proper time.

In the interim I have Hope and Faith
and most important of all
I have the Almighty with me
and
He
is on my side of the wall
I would say that makes us
more than even.

More than even, indeed. I am living proof that, with the Lord, all things are possible... and with Him there is nothing earthly that can defeat you. Your eyes are in the right place.

Reading you and hoping that one day soon you will be free.The mind can play terrible games because only your mind really knows you and because of that it knows how to get to you, more than any one person can.
