a wafting breeze carries a familiar fragrance or the radio plays a well rehearsed song, and now you haunt me again, with that delightful chuckle bubbling between a slightly gapped and gorgeous smile... that fleeting mischievious glint that flashes with a cut of robust mahogany eyes... i can still see that subtle quiver-to-curl of your lip that always tells what you're really thinking, no matter how softly you speak, with perfect hand on hip poise. ever so seldomly, a ringtone echoes from a half empty pillow during the loneliest midnights. what a soundtrack my heart has recorded, and what frames memory has burned, that the reel should spin once and again, so long after the credits have rolled through. but even favorite films lose their magic eventually, to be archived in the dusty collection of keepers long since viewed, making room for new releases and only taken out on rare occasions. so your pageant and parade remain forever classic, but i don't believe in ghosts anymore. |

I wonder if someone is haunted by you too. I think everyone has a ghost haunting them deep within their heart. I know I do.Enjoyed Ethern. ~V~ Love: A temporary insanity curable by marriage. by Ambrose Bierce |
