The Queen of Silences A cruel-Winter wind stirs the chill morning mist in a thousand whispers, and mixes withered leaves with dead roses on the doorstep, under dark black clouds glowering by legions in cadent march across the hills and valleys of our fears. I remember her I remember her as Lady of the silences queen of love unsatisfied, love forgotten in her vast, lost land of no return where all love ends without reason and I must wander for eternity. --- b. e. adams (11/13/2012) [This message has been edited by secondhanddreampoet (11-13-2012 08:11 PM).] |

for those whom "life and love" have eluded ... all is 'haunting' ... |
