Elizabethtown Nights In the summer the sun can cook you like KFC's crispy fried chicken, but if you get under the shade of a stately oak tree and take in a sweet country breeze it seems to be 20 degrees cooler in the shade, its like coming into the arms of a sweet Kentucky woman on a cool Elizabethtown night when she pulls you close after she turns off the lights. Hmmm, I am familiar with Kentucky and Elizabethtown...Spent many enjoyable years at Murray State University..."resting" under large oak trees on "warm" summer nites. Interesting poem, James.RV |

One of my favorites James. Especially when the lights went out. ~Victoria~ "If music be the food of love, play on." (William Shakespeare) |
