karma winds (#2) Old, lost-forest road swept clean by pure moonlight. Tiny creatures of the night, veiled in velvet mountain shadows, sing a universal refrain to deep, inscrutable time. The cool-wind surprise hints of impending and immortal flux, down the ever-rolling years of seasons changing. At this edge of life’s abyss lies the cosmic event horizon where stars hang free and our finest dreams take wing ... on karma winds. --- b. e. adams (10/20/2012) |

Man, this is one of your very best poems in my opinion. You always give the reader plenty of color and descriptive lines which enrich your poems dramatically. However, this one goes a couple of steps beyond your usual excellent norm. There is a whispering of the locale, the moon, the tiny creatures of the night, the . . . Hell, just everything. It's as if your Muse guided your fingers, and the Muse itself was guided by this faint, timorous whispering I spoke of. Impressive and absolutely wonderful poetry. Again, in my opinion, one of your best . . . ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Hmmm, old logging roads and deer runs providing openings in the forest for the moonlight...takes me back long ago to the wilderness of our own...thank you for the memory...enjoyed the ride on "karma winds(#2)". RV |
