Red Rock Lake (#2) [Indian Peaks Wilderness, Rocky Mt. front ranges] mirror-perfect lake, red rocks reflecting near a setting salmon-sun, endless azure and amethyst cloud-fantasies surging forever over verdant pines that march along silver sands, 'deep-timescape' slipping past ... Here, the mind, heart, and spirit are truly free and one with the infinite universe. --- b. e. adams (geo-poet/Romanticist) 10/15/2012 |

quote: That sums up the feeling this poem portrays, even without typing in the words. The mirrored lake, red rocks, and the salmon sun, just paint an indelible picture in my mind. A poem of so few words with so many feelings. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
