They use to walk where the sand had a bit of loose traces of footprints spread across the open plain Her heart use to wonder if the clothes on her bare back could stare into the wind as the autumn trees rain under the size of the small suns reign If a heart is not a heart than a human says that the biggest draw of the human soul is the draw of another set of eyes that can send them to a place where only the silence can draw back to its time on the river banks and the mountain side So she touched his body as if she was touching the road beneath the canals and she wondered if only her hands could seem to rattle the fair weather of that chilled, october day For her v-neck sweater came out of her closet that day just as he began to wander if he'd rub against her that fine, autumn day [This message has been edited by Tomer (10-14-2012 10:09 PM).] |
