One wave rolls away then another takes its place. Some star leaves a trace just before the morning wakes One man needs a break and a baby boy is born so to keep some old bones warm and carry on his name-- Refrain. (carry on a name) The Same. Did you think we played for keeps? We were castles on the beach. We whispered our cliche'; walked naked into waves against a wall of blame as if we could defy the puzzle of the tide and carry on the same refrain. |

This is a heavy bit of writing. I particularly liked, "as if we could defy the puzzle of the tide and carry on the same" the secret then if the puzzle of the tile.quote The times had, of course, been blamed for a myriad of things, why not life gone wrong? ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Thank you all very much. I go to bed very early these days, though, but I do hope to return the favor of your time. ![]() |

And I am still The Same, if just a bit ragged from high tide. ![]() Thank you for reading, and I'd like to ask that you all check out the Poetry Challenge forum--Stephanos is asking for acrostics, and I have a little venture of fun of my own. ![]() |
