and push comes to shove
what’s done is done
with just baggage to jettison

Put all the pain in one place
with no way to trace
a way back to it again
Let it go and let it end

Damage is as damage does
eroding at wanting loves
Together forever
remains the endeavor

To have and to hold
feels empty and cold
when hearts are in the trenches
craving love me clinches

Unconditional surrender
of their wounded tender
to each other’s
rekindles the hearts of the lovers

Talkin' from experience JL and that ain't nearly as sweet as your comfort foods... chocolate milk (love it!) and to die for Italian cream cake. Yummy is right. Sounds like another dimplw to me LOL!
