The beauty is sometimes a cruel poison when Rimbaud runs away from vowels, from illuminations forced by the world where his unknown youth wanders, O beauty you please me, in the bites of the naked cathedrals and the illuminations, I would be a slave of the somber melodies if they resound in your black hair, The beauty, a poison? I think not when her sun enlightens citadels or infames stones of the prisons, when your eyes inspire my passions, From north to south, the beauty illuminates the banks of the rivers where we navigate, the promises which we make to the children, her mystery lights the fire of the world … |

Yann, j’adore Rimbaud, “l’homme aux semelles de vent” comme a dit Verlaine! Ici, dans ton poème, tu as mêlé la nature, l’architecture, et l’amour de la même passion et la même excellence que Rimbaud a fait avec la nature et l’amour dans ses Voyelles (que j’aime tellement) et dans Ma Bohème (le poème que j’adore le plus de tous ses poèmes magnifiques – et peut-être le plus de toute la poésie française). La nature et l’amour se mêlent toujours comme rien d’autre et ici tu as ajouté l’architecture merveilleusement. Celui-ci, à mon avis, c’est ton chef-d’oeuvre, à tout jamais. Owl |

chere diana, tes mots sont si gentils, la preuve que tu aimes rimbaud, tu le connais si bien, ton commentaire en français me touche, je t'offre le poeme en français car je sais bien que mon anglais n'est pas irréprochable, merci de tout coeur, yann la beauté est parfois un poison cruel quand Rimbaud s’enfuit des voyelles, des illuminations forcées du monde où sa jeunesse inconnue vagabonde, o beauté tu me plais, dans les morsures des cathédrales nues et les enluminures, je serais esclave des sombres mélodies si elles résonnent dans tes noirs cheveux, la beauté, un poison ? je crois que non quand son soleil éclaire les citadelles ou les pierres infames des prisons, quand tes yeux inspirent mes passions, Du Nord au Sud, la beauté illumine les rives des fleuves où l’on navigue, les promesses que l’on fait aux enfants, son mystère éclaire l’incendie du monde… |
