Love Paths

Right now its important
to me to get past the pain
and the disappointments
and the regrets
of a man that lost
the woman that he loves
and to look at my lost love
through the eyes of a man that has loved
and is capable of giving and receiving love
but also able to accept the loss of a relationship
while still being a man that can love,
a man that can understand and accept
that even if the object of is love is gone
he can still walk a path of love.

Amen. You speak words of wisdom here. Reminds me of my favorite prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference...
