Uploaded with ImageShack.us I spoke to the wind about you your words came back using the moon our stream of consciousness intersected and entered our hearts your voice was a sigh around my eyes I reached out to you gripped your hair and gently, but firmly pulled you to me there I tasted and consumed your thoughts and the sound I made upon my tongue were words held back for decades like a saga for the soul they tumbled out when you thought to speak our lovers' duet we sung to the stars as we clasped each other through all those cyberspace miles ©December 30, 2011 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ I gave up feeling guilty just to survive a long time ago ~*~ |

"your voice was a sigh around my eyes" That sentiment is a poem in and of itself. The sharing of souls is indescribable. I especially liked the image you used with your poem. Very nice Jerry |

Another gem, Jerry....this fairly shimmers with warmth and meaning! I've been away, and it's neat to come back and read how your poetry has changed....there is a softness, a happiness, a contentented..peace, in your words. Am so happy for you! Best, Amaryllis |

Thank you, Amaryllis, and you are absolutely right, I have had my feelings regenerated I guess you could say. I still slip back to the dark every so often, but even then the dark seems to come out more tannish than dark-dark. Haha ~*~ I gave up feeling guilty just to survive a long time ago ~*~ |

Your poem is simply soulful, Jerry and the emotions you've described are palpable to my way of thinking. Very nicely written. Katherine 'Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.' |
