![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us God's love he shunned; he refused, He only loved things he could see. Though blind he saw a magical lake, A Falcon's shadow, wild and free. Never touching the lake, just skimmed, Blind Man friended Falcon of the lake. When Blind Man died the Falcon plunged To die on lake's sky reflected fake. July 12, 2012 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ [This message has been edited by Balladeer (09-17-2012 12:18 AM).] |

Hmmmm...I'm going to give this more thought before I come back and respond after a second read, for it is worthy. |

Brilliant write, Jerry. Good to see you on a different venue. You have a very special talent to write exactly what you see, real or imagined. Enjoyed the read, buddy. Jerry, this felt like a Native American elder telling a legend to a younger listener... Is the title intentional or...? -MVS You CAN make a difference, but first you should learn how: |

No, Mark, the title was, "The Blind Man and the Raven." I see that the didn't remove the poem, so I'll put the correct title back up. Thank for stopping by. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Such is the price of loyalty... And one not noted until there's no choice but to pay. I get the feeling I could read this over and over and find something new to ponder in it each time. Deliciously dark. Much enjoyed. Michael |
