Where Have You Been All My Life I know... you were falling in love with yourself while I was trying to find myself. You were spending summers at the French Riviera when I was following the sun. You were modeling dry raincoats on Sixth Avenue. I was walking in the rain and getting soakin' wet. You were the woman taking the elevator up the Eiffel Tower while I was taking the stairs down. And you were the woman that only brought one half of her heart to Honolulu and left the available part of her heart in Chicago. JamesLee 7September 2012 |

And you were the woman that only brought one half of her heart to Honolulu and left the available part of her heart in Chicago. What a great illustration of missed opportunities - colored with the ache of "what if"s. Beautiful write! |
