I wish my quirkish
wasn't so irksome

I'm too complicated
being from Venus
when men are from
somewhere else

Be it Mars
or the Moon …
It matters not
so much the where
as the where not

Not from a walk in
anywhere near
my shoes

My loud words
fall on deaf ears
that I shout at
habitually

Too many full moons
have come and gone
unconsummated

Leaving me to wonder
why
the simple things
that mean so much
to me
are forgotten trivials

Despite the fact
I don't ask for much
I require little of things
What I desire most
of all possessions
is your undivided
attention

Being bold and presenting your desire, in a verbal manner, can make a deference.
Being that I'm from Mars, I can say martians are very simple souls, just say what you mean and mean what you say, and don't be...mean;
