Remember when we fell in love? We used to go by the lake and watch the thunder snow. Mornings of breakfast in bed, letting me shave your head. No money, but we paid attention to the little things. We thought we had love all figured out. Then I started trippin'. My selfish ways broke your heart. I pulled away from you, thinking there was something better on the horizon beyond. Now I'm here alone, realizing I was wrong. I apologize for being an insecure, indecisive woman. A woman searching for a love she already had. I was wondering if I could have it again? I'll love you better than I used to. |

Sometimes it is too late when you realize that, Street Poet, was for me at any rate. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Even if we part from someone we love the love will live on in our hearts, and once we have shared love with someone we always want to share that love...James |

This is such a reflective piece of poetry and your humble message touches me. What's love got to do with it?? *Everything* |
