She held her hands towards a lineage of trees that her heart became one with the desert Each time they came for her heart she lamented in the wake of regret That ill feeling the one where a girl stands on the side of the road with her purse strings flailing at the streets end Her hands don't hold stone, anymore nor the period of descent where a body lunges down towards a fear of never rising above the reclusive thoughts that hindered her childhood years Those strands of hair, auburn towards the steps of the orchid that hid her secrets beneath the remnants of her scorned lips She laid herself in the middle, the orchid; decadent, separate with her thoughts onto the grass of the sage felt orchid wall. |

Enigmatic, Tomer-magic, which leaves one pondering the depths of the pain and sensitive, rich beauty of the mind of the girl in the poem. Owl |
