her skin, supple as cream
pliable as an oceanic breeze
mystifying as a moonbeam
she does her dance
in transparent folds and tucks
of her apparent
while she
constructs spidery moves
beaming, glass held high in a toast
my eyes burn with desire
while outside . . .
there is an ancient haze
which scrubs itself upon window-panes
of my bedroom
it too watches her undressing dance
as do my lecherous eyes
she laughs . . . tra-la-la, tra-la-la
sounding like a brook blabbing
ours is an off-troubled façade
she has breakable layers
but now she is bendable
and rubs feather-soft breasts on grizzled cheeks
as well as my primeval mouth
she delights in her arrested youth
to mesmerize, hold in thrall
mistress of chimera
pouting an attitude for my benefit
her willing jester
under her creamy big-top
I sip my cheap California burgundy
swell my desire at her feet
tread softly
for you tread upon my pleasure
