Sometimes I wake up and wonder who I am Where am I? I peak out the window of my flat "I live in Prague!" "What am I doing here?" I've forgotten who I was before. On the other side of the ocean "Do I know that man?" "Was he any better or worse?" "What am I missing?" Stirred by a dream, of a lost brother 10 years ago, somewhere, near this day He passed away A man I barely knew Awoken by a dream of him As a forgotten memory comes flooding in... "I don't remember, did we have a funeral?" There wasn't a funeral "Ah yes, a dinner, I remember a dinner" Of all his friends And I sitting at the head of the table like so many of our birthday gatherings Of which he/we were never a-part His friends spoke They all shared their stories and tales People came up to me and asked... My reply was, "I didn't know him very well." He left home somewhere around 20 or 17 Moved to San Francisco, perhaps when I was 3 A rare visit, he lived his life Made it better than I I, I didn't know him But perhaps are very alike |

That's sad, but a mighty fine way to remember your brother. This made me tip my head to the side and blink, and smile warmly at your memories. |
