Waverley witchell of bobbing on sea, sailed 'round the world in a 4 foot dingy, Incredibly, braving the waves and the storms he danced a small jig as he rounded Cape Horn, His companion a comical calico cat played on a harp, in a paisley pink hat. They followed the moon then they danced for the stars, And feasted on sea beans they kept in fruit jars. Waverley wore a patch on one eye, he waved at the pirates on ships that passed by, He brandished a cutlass of cardboard and glue while the comical cat played a shanty or two. Waverley witchell of bobbing on sea, returned to his home, craving jam tarts and tea. "High seas adventures are okay for some, but I'd rather eat tarts and drink tea in the sun". And the calico cat played a sweet melody, Then purred very softly "I have to agree". |

Modern Day Mother Goose and much preferred. I think this should be a children's book. It brought great colorful images to mind. Lori |

Oh my gosh...this is so happy and playful. Really loved the whimsy. You should write a child's book of poetry. Kudos to you... |
