Help me please
Help me say what my heart feels
Yet my tongue cannot speak
Of why my soul has met it's match
Of why I feel like I am drowning
In a sea of love ,arms outstretched across the oceans
Touching in our minds and hearts but miles away
From the bodies we dream of holding
The words I love you repeated endlessly
But unable to tell of their meaning
Love needs another language to make it's feelings clear.

Thank you for the note, Nigel...I appreciate it...you may see yourself as a beginner but your talent shines in your words...all of us started somewhere...I used to write completely different than I do now...Love is indeed a great way to inspire words and your poetry shows that...I am glad for you at finding love...even at a distance it touches the soul...keep up the good work...I really enjoy reading your poems...*BIG HUGS*

I think we all feel inadequate when it comes to expressing our feelings... we play with words and live with words and yet can't find the right ones when it matters most.

But hearts have their own way of speaking even when tongues are tied.
