You are so right, Jerry. There are two sides to every story...and every poet. Ida |

Sometimes, to poets and writers such as I, there are three sides, and you don't even want to know what the third side is, Ida. Yuk.Yuk. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Appreciate it, Karen, I love dark, but don't write as much as I used to. Maybe this one will get me back into it. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Fine writing Jerry, for all I know poetry is good and you are good at expressing from your heart. "The secret behind survival of mankind is kindness and love within our hearts" |

"Hardly anyone you know..." that statement says a ton. It's almost the duty of a poet to touch the souls of others. Others they have never met, even. And yet the bond is felt, and absorbed. The poet becomes part of the lives of those people. Great stuff here, JP. Michael |

Absolutely, Michael. We never know how profoundly someone we had never heard of accepts our poem and how it makes them react and think. Thanks for coming over here today. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |
