Little Bird

Little bird
stick around for awhile
and I'll give
you a smile
and some crumbs
from my peanut
butter cookies.
We'll probably
never meet again
but for this moment
I'll be your friend
and keep you company.

Excellent friendship chosen
It won't show any gratitude
But, a tiny harmless soul

I am proud of this poet
His idea is indeed touching
