Society looks like a congregation of hurt souls
Burdened by the evil deeds conceived by others
The youth have no respect for their fathers and mothers
A fashionably nihilistic view through glasses with no lenses
Relationships scorched by misogynistic men and scorned women
Love good

Everything we eat has a death sentence
Diabetes, Heart Attack, Cancer, we're all a witness
Trans Fat, Gluten, ingredients no one knew a few years ago
The Alcoholic doesn't know his liver gave out ten beers ago
Allergies produced by genetically altered fruits and vegetables
Eat good

Work all your life so you can die with nothing
Worship money-- force yourself to believe its means something
Misery hates loneliness watch your nightmares play together
Breathe the polluted air as you slowly smother
Hope all your dreams aren't accomplished by another
Live Good

Oh my gosh...this is all so true yet still I find the beauty in our world and hope that there is still honest love around...*sigh*...harsh realities are so paing-filled...you have written it all with open eyes...very well said...*BIG HUGS*

I call writing like this tough beauty.
The truth really does hurt sometimes and it's really well written in your verses here.
However, as I mentioned there's a certain raw beauty in reality, an awakening.
