A kind word from a stranger It makes me feel good But compliments from a lover Make me want to duck for cover It's a strange autonomy That makes me wonder About the anatomy Of our strange dichotomy ~Arana Darkwolf~ |

Compliments may not be easy to handle, when we feel challenged and might fear to belie expectations. Good verse. Margherita |

I find it much easier to give compliments than to receive them...*HUGS* *may our dreams ever be magical* |

Well, this certainly made me smile. In some cases it's just the way it is and you've written about it in an interesting way here. Enjoyable read for sure. Eric true love never looks after it's own interests |

When I was in high school I was out with friends and one of them said something nice to me. I didn't know what to say, blushed and wanted to fall through the floor. An older gentleman leaned over to me and whispered in my ear. He said, "Just say thank you.", smiled a gentle smile and walked away. I have lived those words ever since, Rachael, just say thank you. xoxoxo Z |
