Mother-As in Mother Earth. Mother-One who gave us birth. Mother is a holy word As sacred as the song I heard that dried my tears when I would cry; A comforting Mother's lullaby. A memory from childhood years that soothed the heart and calmed all fears. Ida Werrett [This message has been edited by Marchmadness (05-13-2012 12:26 AM).] |

I would love to know my mother, but when I tried to find her I was met with lies on top of lies. The woman who raised me, the woman I called mother, only leaves hate in my heart because she was the one who put fear of her in my everyday childhood. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

So sorry. That is so sad. I know my mother wasn't perfect but I never doubted that she loved me. Ida |

Thank you, Startime. My mother has been gone for some years now but I always remember her singing to us kids. I doubt she would have made it past Simon Cowell but it is still a pleasant memory to me. Ida |

This is sweet and tender to my ears, as if you were speaking of my Mother too, dear Ida. What a blessing our Mothers! Beautiful and heart touching words. Margherita |
