Time,finite,yet
elusive,elastic,but
static,stretching ahead
infuriatingly,seeping seconds,
dripping away like
chinese torture,tick,
tick,tick,another
five minutes degraded,
counting days,hours,
minutes until your
arms enfold me
and time stands
still,briefly,only
to begin once
more the countdown.

I liked this especially how you included the commas to highten the feeling of time ticking by.
