there was a time
when all was roses and sunshine
even the cloud cant fog the day
and nothing could hold me back

but the roses are thorny
and the sunshine can be scorching

i was blessed with gods signs
turning a blind eye caused heartache
im sorry to do so
sorry for not being sure of anything
and im most sorry
for not calling the shots

thank u for being there
for being my guiding star

And so the rains comes, and fingers bleed along with your heart, but the gold is in such a friend, and that treasure is worth it.
