Sometimes I awake from a deep sleep because I think I hear my name called and I find myself answering. I am just awake enough to see my answer slip away into the night... leaving only the faintest echo. Ida Werrett |

Yo dear Ida, It's interesting that you "see" spoken words in your dreams. Bobby |

like dejavu ... what you describe here is, I believe, an experience common to many of us ... rather 'interesting,' methinks?! VERY well 'penned' ! |

I used to hear "Mom.... Can we go..." I would answer in my sleep my children's questions and then not remember they'd been there. It was no dream, but sometimes I thought it was. They'd say later, "Well, we asked you. You SAID WE COULD!" Imps! [This message has been edited by Klassy Lassy (04-04-2010 01:22 AM).] |

I have heard those words."Mom" and gotten up to see if some one came in.I have gotten up in the middle of the night to answer the door bell. Even as a teen ager away from home I had to call home as I thought I heard my mother calling during the day. I often wonder if these were messages from someone somewhere? thanks Ida for the memory. latearrival |

Echoes of what was, what is, what will be. A dream within a dream... who is to say what lies beyond the seam of reality and dream. I enjoyed the read. Peace. "We'll chase them like rats across the tundra." |
