. Night comes And once again Unexpectedly There are Special stars In the sky To feel That fluttering Of butterfly wings As consummated Mutual fantasies Drift in sighing ecstasy From flower to flower In a garden no one alone Can ever see Time slows To accommodate desire As through the window The moon’s silver glow Moves with sensual Staid regard Across the darkened floor And when the sun Rising above The calmed sea at dawn Tints the mist From evening charms Still ascending with crimson hue Blue on blue Delays the day For a few minutes more While the world outside Jaded sadly unaware Prepares itself To just go on . |
