Blues bar Smokey blues fills the air in the dim club light. Their eyes brush each other from across the room. Something awakens and is brought to life with the pulsating music. Again, slower this time, their eyes sip at each others passion. It is a hot June night and sweat beads above her lips as she greets him with a held out hand, His calloused but artistic hold hers in return. Moving in close to speak, she feels the heat of him. Now only inches apart their eyes are locked and drink of each other with long thirsty gulps. Her scent fills him and he becomes drunk on its flavor. They talk and drink each other as the saxophone player paints the night air with emotion. Arm in arm they walk towards the exit, fate holds the door open and smiles. |
