Do I love thee? Are there countless stars, Like ways in which I love? Are there countless dreams, In which to dream of? The question asked One too many times For an answer Found within our minds Given the choice between Thee, and the ever changing sky How could I choose thus, Where thoughts of you reside? How can you quantify love? And how can you compare? Love seems different from points of view Between those that love is shared Do I love thee? Not as a pure as a woman Might love a man; Yet, with all that I am |

Trying to define love is something we poets adore to do ... quantifying seems impossible. Love IS. Loved your poetic ponderings, dear J.! Margherita |

"How can you quantify love? And how can you compare? Love seems different from points of view Between those that love is shared Do I love thee? Thank you all very much. Paul, there is nothing to give up. You're a much, much better writer than me. Besides, these poems of mine for the most part are ones written a decade or two ago. |
