Crimson Curtains

There is so little between us, now,
Just the flimsy, crimson curtains
of night time, Passion and Desire,
just the gossamer thin drapes
of Time, Circumstance and Space.
It can not be much longer, now,
Because already we both love,
And already know that love
is inclusive, unconditional.
It can not be much longer, now.
I wait with open lips and arms;
I wait with a full to overflowing heart.

Jaime,

This is so passionate in its crimson color.  Sometimes I wonder why poems get passed over.  This is far too good to be ignored.  I love when you write like this.  You just lay your heart out in your poetry.

Dear Ali:
Thank you so much for your thoughts, Ali.  Means so much to me.  I was beginning to think maybe nobody else liked it.  or stopped to read …. You’re the only one to reply …   …that makes your response all the more meaningful.  But even even if nobody else responds, if Ali thinks it is good, then I’ll be happy …
Love,
Jaime

I have been known to be snubbed on these forms also, Dadygoose. Actually this poem has a meaningful rapport with the lonely of the world.
