With the passage of time Comes the deepening of love Like the darkening day In the setting of the sun Changing shades of colored sky All fading to blackest night To hold steady, all feelings the same Constant, never shared with the light But she, in my arms remains As the blissful sleep enfolds me I trust my soul to her So in the morning I might see And behold all that I am With an opening of her waking eyes After a night like this I wonder, Will the sun ever rise? |

I always figure its gonna rise no matter what, so if it doesn't, I'm obviously in a position to not notice anyway. j. |

As I watch the sun set from my desk window, I wonder not that it will rise, but that it will be warm. Still a bit chilly in my neck of the world, but your poem did its best to warm my heart. |
