What beauty we behold Of a garden in bloom With an array of flowers devine Can we even grasp The natural order of this Springing from dust, rain, and sunshine The Iris who sends the message of love To the one we are helpless without The rose in all its brilliance of red Like our lives it will fade in the years ahead But unyielding like the love we will share Until our last breath I spy a violet anchored in your hair As you dance in and out of my dreams With lilies strewn around your dainty feet Petals of roses fall from your gown And frangrance from wild honeysuckles All loneliness drowns |

Absolutely delightful, dear Paul! A joy to read. Love, Margherita ps I would like to invite you to interact here on Pip, reading other poets' works and commenting on them too sometimes, according to the true spirit of mutuality that characterizes this site. This will also induce more people to read your lovely poetry. |

I'd have to say this guy's in love, big time. Lucky lady. Billie C. |
