When your busy day is over and done And the drive home is nearly o'er You begin to think of your nights alone Knowing life can offer so much more The emptiness that meets you at home as you arrive Echoes of footsteps beat a dull rhythm in your ears You have tasted love and you shouldn't be alone Oh how much do you miss that she is not here Her scent is embedded in all your walls You feel her presence in all places she walked Holding to dreams when you can't hold her Wishing for her, all her laughter and talk So in my dreams I play the lead part The passion I feel burns so deep within Then awake realizing you're nothing without her You need her love, you need your best friend |

The sadness is deeply felt, dear Paul. Well done! Love, Margherita |
