I never knew that love had legs, that walked upon reflections, I never knew two people could own time just for themselves. I never knew relinquish was the tarnish of beginning, I never knew that seconds drown in light within the wisp. Eons always will be broken thorns upon becoming, just as liquid shadows bear the stillness of our fate. Fall with me through glimmer in the sun night of the wayward, ever on the dawning, that be stills the love we yearn. Gleam with me forever on the shoreline of engagement, wish shall not forsake us in the lips of our embrace. |

What a beautiful language you weave in this poem. I like all of it, but this verse really caught my attention: "Eons always will be broken thorns upon becoming, just as liquid shadows bear the stillness of our fate." It's sad, but it also intimates changes that form us beyond the reflections of time. That's what Love does, when eons become more than beginnings and endings. ~Karen |

The metaphors and the imagery of this engaging poem work so well together, to express the meaning of relationship in an extraordinary way! I am moved to ask: Oh, what manner of love is this! I think it is rare. A magnificent write, Richy. Regards, Art |
