 some afternoon colored morning residue of sun lipstick on cloud collar and a gull sips her water fountain whiskey I wonder if she counts the coins from dreaming children in grown up bodies that emptied their hands as souls there or is she only sees the shining objects and whispers they are pretty things perhaps gifts from the gods distantly tossed to tempt her to wish she was as the fish that swim under shimmer sided windows in their round walled heistation but without answering she wings into tomorrow _____________ daark (velvet water series) |

Glassine poetry is at its finest whenever under your hand, sir. The only sad part is that the author might not acknowledge all of the sighs... unless he's on the other side.  Well done...and of course, enjoyed. |

ms ali-san..I think the gull I spoke of just wants to eat the fish...she seems perfectly content with her wings...but then again she don't ride a harley so... thanks babe |

Maybe she wanted to eat the fish so she could be the fish? I refuse to admit that I misread the poem - I would rather contend that I read it from my own slant of thought. Or something like that. A |
