Kamikaze Cupids Mice scatter beneath A ocean of frozen tundra The Kamikaze Cupid Will steal you You can't hear him Within the safety of the earth The warmth embraces your body But the little red fox Can leap into the sun and dive through the snow almost like a child in a pond. The Kamikaze Cupid Is alive another day. -Juju |

An interesting thought. Cupid does sort of dive bomb us and explode like a thousand suns. Typo in stanza one. "an" Fall in love early, fall in love often. |

Interesting. I'd say "fascinating", but, well... Wouldn't suggest any changes to this, even though your work here is a bit of a riddle. Deep thoughts aren't necessarily predatory, nor is physical love (or so I am told). Humans can pretend to be hibernating mice or little ponds, but that doesn't make us so. We can be a bit "kamikaze" or quixotical, too---it's not always predatory, nor mere ego oar-stroking... Very good use of imagery throughout, imho. Plz post some more! |
