and I would of mortal tone love the gowns of clouds on sky as they dance limbless but winged as liquid rulers measuring nothing without reference to any other heaven my hands in sand sided gloving to worship a bleeding sea of jade that is the panting of statue stallions white manes they are the galloping sounds that echo in coves of day dreamer evenings dare I count the cards that splinter from trees that deal from their oaken palm and scatter them as maiden buttons on glass where they are silent in their lighting flight until the mockery of rain roof tin temptations folds closed the rubber arrows of loving blinds ______________ daark |
