With my hands of blue sky
I opened prairies,
I opened horses
on the orangy plains,
with my hands of mountains
I received the collective consciousness,
in the red stars of lips
I opened my suffering of snow,
on the roads of the country which cries
I deposited the flame of the games,

With my hands of blue sky
I opened meadows,
the unforgettable adventure of the dreams,
the spirit of a glorious heart.

Wow, dear Yann, you have reached the heights of the olympic spirit with this wonderful poetic offering.

"With my hands of blue sky ...." that will linger within me ...

thanks a lot Margherita for leaving a such wonderful comment and beautiful communion, the poem was inspired by watching the opening ceremony which countained beautiful messages and images, even the read of a canadian poet by himself I guess, it was quite interesting.
